Geometry in buildings

I actually thought about transferring to architecture study when I was in my sophomore year because my school has a great architecture degree in Canada and I have interest on it too since the style of the old buildings in my hometown has a local Chinese classical flavor and I was often taken to visit those buildings by my elders when I was a child. They are mysterious and beautiful in my eyes, which makes me go to a new place to first survey the characteristic buildings there, if there is a chance. Then, I found out there are a lot of geometries in building designs, which makes them interesting and beautiful.
